Difference is Cattermole has, and not just in my opinion, been probably our best player this season. Has carried the team. Can now pass a ball as he is learning the trade from a quality gaffer and you call him a journeyman slogger? Well done. Wickham I do rate but admit he's been poor this season except for a few games. Was excellent on Saturday.

Sorry Marcus, I don't want an argument, there has been far to much of that on here lately, lets not go there. Read Don Hutchinson's opinion of Catts in the Chronicle, it reflects what I and many others think of him. It's just an opinion. ( Although I think his N.E. Player of the year is merited ). I never said he was crap, I certainly don't think he is a top half of the Premier player. His strengths (and its only my opinion) are in a team playing two lines of defence on the edge of there 18 yard box. This is not a style of football I want to watch every week. I do understand that we play this way because Cattermole and Larrson are limited offensively. They are not effective in the final third hence we can't score against QPR, Burnley or Leicester. Opinions differ, but good manners dictate while not agreeing with everyones opinion we should respect each others opinion. I basically agree with Hutchinson's and not your's but do respect your thoughts. No offence meant.

Never write off a player who's steaming towards his prime like an express train. Catts is unrecognisable from two years ago. If you credit him that and keep an open mind who knows how good he can get and where else he can improve. still got a couple of years until he hits his prime too.
