If there was any contact it was his knee, that's a yellow card. Go and look in the rule book and read what constitutes a straight red. Thought you knew everything about football, you don't even know the ****ing rules. There's no law against going to ground and he never showed his studs.
True but that doesn't constitute a sending off. The rules are black and white, it's the refs that are the grey area.
LOL I know miles more than ****ing plums like you sticking up for a waste of space. he dive in because his a **** footballer & there was intent in the tackle to.
Of course he went to do him LOL he lost his head because he give the ball away about 5 times in a row. players like him are taking us down & I wish some fans would WAKE THE **** UP. Going to order a pizza. be back later.
Chaps, I'm not sure if you were at the game, but it was a lot harder than the replay makes it look. He was pegging it toward Elmo and I just knew he was going to dive in and it was always going to be late, well he ended up absolutely flying in like he had a space rocket up his arse, he used more force than Luke Skywalker could handle. Probably was the force he went in with that got him sent off, it was pretty reckless, if it wasn't so hard it would have to have been yellow. But then if he hadn't charged in so hard he'd never have been there in time to make the challenge. Dossenas 'tackle' however was horrendous. Could have caused serious injury that one for nothing more than malice, at least clattermole seemed to be trying for the ball.
I have been a critic of Cattermole, but genuinely thought that he had learnt a lesson from his problems with PDC. He has been magnificent since he came back into the team - but then he does this. Regardless of whether he made contact or not, launching himself into a reckless challenge like this is always going to give the ref a decision to make, and given his past record that decision is likely to be a red card. We can't afford to have him in the team. As for Dossena, that is as nasty a challenge as I have seen on a football pitch for years (since Roy Keane?). I will be amazed if he gets away with just a 3 game ban. We all know that we are in trouble this season. The Hull game was against a team who are likely to be in the relegation mix at the end of the season, so it was crucial that we came away with something - then these two ar5eh0les decide to do that!
