Dogs and dog lovers think getting slobbered all over their faces after the K9 has given his balls a slurp is true love and companionship.

The rumours that Cats are cold is a myth...they’re just too Classy..sometimes I’ll just be sat there and I’ll feel a nice soft furry creature gently rub up alongside me as it walks past or jump up besides me and give me a proper Alpha male Headbump...now and again from a distance I get a 2 eye wink.

We have two dogs. One I'm fond of, the other is a pain in the arse.

The most annoying thing about dogs is the attention they need. You can't go anywhere for more than a few hours before you have to "get back for the dogs".

We can leave the cat for a couple of days. Food on a timer, cat flap at his convenience and he's good to go.

 

Which is exactly why, as much as I like them, we will not have another dog.

 

That's a pretty simple one. If people haven't got time for them then they shouldn't have one. My dog needs zero attention, she's perfectly happy just lying about minding her own business until walking time. I wouldn't leave her in the house for more than 3 or 4 hours alone, though. She could handle it, I just don't like to do it.
