I Text Inky this morning who said it was packed up there, which is brilliant......great support being shown...
Adel did just fine. Looks fit and sharp. The nearest kebab shop is miles away from Carton House. Can't praise the club and the players highly enough for the great P.R. job they did there this morning. They must have spent an hour signing autographs and posing for photos with every single fan. Harry was in great form, laughing and joking. Very enjoyable morning. The security lads said the crowds there today were twice as many as they got for Real Madrid.
Sounds great on both Finglas. Wish I could of been there. Hopefully too we won't read more about Adel being fat and totally unfit. I hope too he will be staying with us, and not being sold, but that doesn't seem so likely.
Super turnout, great attitude by players and staff at Carton. Harry spent the entire time during the session on the blower....
Now there's a surprise! Did you hear any names mentioned? Did Adel and SWP hang around this time and sign autographs, or were they prima donnas again? Also, I can't remember. Was Jack Collinson part of the group?
My wife's nephew who was at Carton House with my family today txt me that he definitely saw 'Arry wheeling and dealing, but he thinks it was only for 500kgs of copper pipe and 50m of carpet with a couple of locals beside their caravan. (Allegedly)
Hmmmmm... Carpet - Rug - Ruggiero Rizzitelli, an Itallian striker, aged 46, who scored 84 goals in 369 games during his career. Experienced, injury prone (369 games over 17 years) and a low scoring ratio. Copper - Cooper - Kenny Cooper, who plays for Seattle Sounders over here. Ex Man United trainee, who's scored 80 goals so far in a 10 year career. They both sound perfect, sign them up 'Arry!
apart from adel who only signed a few shirts that I saw, every other player went through the whole line. it was explained clearly to us what would happen and it went like clockwork. it was a credit to everyone (inc carton house) that it went so well.
Adel stopped at everyone that asked as far as I could see. I took a photo of him with my two rug rats.
ciarrai, must have just been our section then. I didn't get his signature nor did the 3 or 4 people either side of me.
I take that back. just seen a pic of adel signing a flag for the lady beside me. I was getting ale faurlins autograph at the time.
He was about 500 yards from anyone even lip reads with lens had no hope...of course he could have been putting a bet on! Didn't see jack or Matty there nor Julius. Every single one signed and posed for photographs inc both reserve keepers ... Remy and Adel did look abit sheepish either because we know they what to be somewhere else or they assume they will be before end of TW. To be fair neither shirked the fans. Most impressed with Ali at training kick around and Shamrock Rovers, he can sure spray that ball around, Hoillet looks really sharp.
