Am already getting bored of the jag. It’s too ****ing big.

Been perusing other motors the last few days.

Quite liking the Mercedes cla Amg

They are big cars. Not the easiest to park.

They're not the biggest cars Stan.

They're on the A Class chassis.

I've got the GLA AMG, same chassis but with 4 wheel drive. Merc's are ****ing useless on snow and ice, especially in a village like ours that's never seen a gritter, ever!!

I've got a Jag XF and it's big compared to cars I've had in the past!

I got the cla amg last year mate. I find it hard getting in to the damn thing as it's soo low imo

Once in though it's a great drive <laugh>

I like big cars. Mine is on the slightly too big side of huge.

Great though, I can lug all sorts around and it fits all the kids and dog in no problem at all. Full golfing shebang sits neatly in the back.

Was in a work mate 4 series yesterday, also an excellent car.
Since I've had mine I'd go for BM any day.

Used to be a big fan of Merc too.

I just find my jag less nimble than my old Beamer. Don’t feel I can throw it into corners.

I also think I don’t need a big diesel at all. But the smaller Diesel engines are boring.

So need a fast petrol engine. Hence looking at the Toyota GT. looks pretty meant to handle well and is quick and very light. For the type of driving I do it fits. Just doesn’t look as classy pulling onto other folks drives.

The GT86 isn’t particularly quick. Looks quicker than it is, which is never a good thing.

It’s power to weight ratio is good. 0-60 is decent enough but the handling is meant to be very good. It’s more about being fun to drive and looking nice. It just lacks class.

I’ve always liked Audi TT’s the 2ltr petrol tfsi is a possible just a bit of a girls car.

Try an SLC or older SLK 280.

Its got a 3litre engine and loads of **** you under the bonnet. Makes a great noise when you floor it.
