**** a lease, don't do credit.

Not so bothered on a return, just want something that is going to last a few years rather than picking up a banger to last a year.

Forgive Stan, Libby.

Most estate agents I've ever known lease their cars. It's generally the only way they get to drive something like a Porsche Boxter.

I'm a bit biased towards VW/Audi/BMW as that's what I've owned for the last 10-15 years. They are a quality build and put things like Ford, Vauxhall, Renault etc to shame really.

See I wouldn't mind an Astra or something as it's cheap to fix etc. but thinking of getting something that might last a bit longer.

These days you can get OEM parts from ebay or Europarts that aren't expensive. Gone are the days where if you owned a BMW you had to take it to a main dealer to get parts. An Astra will be cheaper to buy and insure, but I wouldn't say it would be that much cheaper to maintain than a Golf or A3.

Insurance is the other thing I need to look at.

Gonna do some quotes n **** tonight on different things to get a rough idea.

Pipe down Les. I’ve seen your life and you shouldn’t be taking the piss out of estate agents.

I wonder what imaginary car @Hoddle Is A God thinks he has parked on the drive of his coastal retreat, and what wheels his supermodel wife is driving his 2 kids (aged 6,10,and 15) around in
