Wouldn’t have been 320bhp. Not off a 520. They’re only about 160bhp standard. The jag I looked at are 275bhp standard and the remapped was 330bhp.

It was a 3.0d and I think it was factory specced at about 240bhp

*Edit, sorry it was a 530d I was looking at.

That’s about right.. my 330 msport is marginally over 240bhp.

It’s not necessarily the speed I like but the torque. The engine needs 6 cylinders I’ve no qualms in overtaking cars or pulling out in front of people as it’s got the grunt to do so.

I had a 320d a few years ago. Old one on an 02 plate. I had that remapped to around 216bhp and and extra 66lbs of torque. I think it all depends on the software in the remap and obviously how well maintained the car is. That 320d was a light car anyway, so it was quick. After the remap it just flew. That car had 300k on the clock when I sold it and it still drove spot on. I looked after it well and made sure the swirl flaps were removed etc. Loads of those BMW engines got torn to shreds because the flaps got sucked into the engine.

Thought you bought a brand new XC90 ?
Leased one for Mrs Stan. She likes to have a nice car. I’ve got an old A3, gets me there just as quick as her car does! :azn:

I may get something new soon though as I need a bigger car to accommodate kids, dogs etc.

Would probably lease again. The payment structure has worked well for me on the Volvo.

Is that s6 nice looking car that.

I tend to find the Audi’s a bit bland. The a5 has a little something about it. Never been a big fan of the a4 the a4 estate. If I’m going to have an estate i will get a 3 series tourer. They’re the prettiest out of the lot.

I had an A6 allroad for a couple of years. That thing was built like a tank and still stocked with 180bhp. Nice car but the air suspension was nothing but trouble.

The 5 series beamers have the same issue. Colleague at work has had his go on both sides.

damn it, I thought this was gonna be a thread about the popular 70/80's band The Cars.

Fast and the Furious is the gayest thing ever invented, except maybe Fifty Shades of Grey.
