I constantly go backwards and forwards with either an AM or Bentley continental, if readies was no issue.
Not a fan of the Bentley tbh mate, it reminds me of Cheshire... I see the DB9 as a car that'll start appreciating in value in a few years time. You can buy a very low mileage, mint and cossetted 2005/6 car for about £40k at the minute. So my justification to myself (and my Mrs lol) is that my bit of weekend fun, if kept in a heated garage under a cover, will end up being a long term investment
Lucky enough to have driven both (DB9 - track day type of thing, Christmas present and my sons girlfriends mum has the Bentley!). Loved the Luxury feel of the Bentley, but the AM would keep me youthful into my 90's!
I've never actually driven one tbh, but just the sound of that V12 gives me a semi. A mate of mine is a senior manager at Bentley and smokes around in one as his company wheels the cock.
I don't think I'll bother to be honest it's fast enough. Think I just went through a speed camera on the m1 doing 95. Could have been worse two mile back I was doing 115 without really realising listening to the stone roses.. Love the noise of the engine on it though. Straight 6 makes a lovely noise.
Bought a new (used) car on Friday. Volvo XC90. Just testing it out today down the beach with kids, dogs and surfboards. It's passed all the necessary tests. It'll be full of sand, dog hair and empty coffee cups soon enough. It's not as quick off the mark as my Audi, but it's an SUV so it's always gonna drive more like a truck than a sports based saloon.
