    No. We had bids rejected for Crouch, Carlton Cole <yikes> and N'Zogbia I think. We were also looking at Rodagella.

    Oh right. Carlton Cole lol. How he gets linked to the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle i don't know. He'l score a decent goal every ten games and the world goes mad.

    No idea, he gets linked with us every other week though. I'd take Crouch & Rodagella but not the Zog, never again!

    Good job I've lived in England from the age of 4 then.

    And to be honest; Newcastle should go for some of the young striking talent in La Liga and Dutch Eredivisie, there's some quality talent there that I'd like to see in the Premier league and I don't reckon we need any more strikers.

    Didn't replace him, brought in to be back up to Best, Ranger and Lovenkrands as Shola didn't have his mask at the time. Simply there to make up the numbers if needed.

    35 million wasn't he? 17.5 mil a goal, pathetic.

    Really? Is that from a Liverpool point of view or Newcastle?

    I wouldn't want any of them. I don't really rate Crouch or Rodallega, they'd improve the current squad but I'd be bitterly disappointed if that was all we could get for £35m. Zog is a talent, but I don't really want to go there again, one bitten, twice shy and all that. He'll play well for six months at a club, see his name being linked to Arsenal in the News of the World and then hand in a transfer request. He isn't worth the hassle.

    Most people I live near(Northants - hence the name) are scouser fans, despite most being Indian (glory supporting twats), so I thought about posting a video of the 3-1 on fb, to show the real AC before he got sucked off(this is what Dalglish means by going to a Boyzone concert- hidden meaning) by 'King Kenny'.

    Oh come on there is bias and then there is stupidity! At the end of the day you lot would love Carroll back before he dumped you, just like Torres with us. Hence why we're both so bitter.

    Totally agree, wouldn't want Crouch or Rodallega either. Rodallega had one half-decent season but isn't that good, and i'd hope to get better than crouch.
