Carroll To Come Back In January?!

Also the fact Pardew has changed the way we play wouldn't suit Carroll, everyone goes on about replacing Carroll but he's not the sort of player we're looking for anymore. Quite obviously we're looking for a quick nippy striker (going by the players we were after in the window) who can beat the offside trap and latch on to passes from the likes of HBA & Cabaye. We have a strong, combative, big guy who will win headers and hold the ball up in Ba. People can knock Ba but players don't suddenly become crap and before long Ba will be back scoring goals like he did at West Ham & Hoffenhiem (sp?).

As for the OP as others have said most of the apparent "big signings" that were mentioned were either free or brought in as squad players by Rafa Benitez & Hicks/Gillette, Liverpool are under new ownership & management now.
And the OP has also predicted most of the Summer that we're doomed, haven't spent enough money etc if 4th in the league & last 16 of the League cup is doomed then yeah we're ****ed

Quite like Cisse to be honest, looks like it could be between us and Sunderland though, but he won't come until next summer as that's when Frieburg have apparently agreed to let him go. Hope MA isn't reluctant to stump up just that extra couple of million..
