Finally the season Carrick has proved all his doubters wrong. The number of Carrick-haters have seriously waned this season as people have come to realise their fallacy that all-action, huffing and puffing like Gerrard, Ramires etc is the only way to play football. Carrick's passive-aggresive approach to football has made fools out of a lot of wannabe football pundits.
indeed well said no wonder why we win the league in the same season he joined us .. he was the only addition to the team and we sold RVN and other players but he was the missing jigsaw that linked up our lines together and feeding our strikers and wingers with some delicious pass.. the role he is played in UTD success over the past years is really not appreciated enough .. what a class display he put in yesterday both defensively and attacking wise, and it make you wonder why he didn't play for England more
We won the league in the first 3 seasons he joined us, some coincidence eh? most under-rated player in the league without doubt.
He used to be be blamed for our losses but now we understand how he ended (contributed to the end) of our 3 year barren spell starting 2005. Roy Keane was wrong. Carrick i squality and has turned things around for us.
