Especially with next year being your year. <whistle>

Jokes aside, always had a lot of time for Carragher, seems a really nice fella and a proper role model. Unlucky to have peeked at the same time as Terry and Rio otherwise he'd have surely been an England regular.

Crock of **** this MFG <ok>

If Rodgers had said anything else you'd have got on his back.

He wouldn't have played any more under Kenny or Rafa (....and just so you know Kenny and Rafa ain't coming back).

Carra isn't a ball player but then Skrtel isn't exactly a ball player either is he....and he didn't just "find his way back in to the team" did he. Rodgers had the balls to drop Skrtel when most of the rest of us wouldn't have and gave Carra a chance (showed a bit of faith despite knowing he needs to build his own team for the future).

Why exactly has the "Big Plan" been tempered? Because Skrtels had a couple of stinkers? Whether or not this plan works out none of us can say yet, so give the guy a break. If he fails you can come along and say "I told you so I told you so" but until then have a bit of good grace and stop blaming him for everything (making things up to suit your rather feeble agenda). At this rate you could get a job on Fleet Street.

Carra's retiring despite the fact he's actually in the team....and unless he comes out and says it's all Rodgers fault then stop crying like a big tart.

We all love him as a player so just appreciate the fact we've had him all these years.

Lol Holy **** MF that was a stretch even by your particular sociopathic tendencies. Brendan does have a restraining order on you right?

Oh and how ****ing loyal are you that you will use the dignity and class act of a player like Carragher to score cheap points against your own manager?

Except I'm going to call it now. He's not your manager because this ain't your team. You've criticised pretty much everything from owners to players to fellow supporters in your pursuit of BR. Not one word of praise for this club the entire season.

So in what definition of the word do you "support" Liverpool FC?

I'd suggest you start posting on the united board like....but wait you're already posting where they post their anti Liverpool stuff already aren't you??!!

On more important matters, Nothing against Skrts but I really hope the Carragher renaissance continues as much as possible for his last 3 months.

Jamie Carragher came from the people, played for the people and loved by the people for it. Interesting that the self-proclaimed People's Club has nobody to match him <ok>

Other than Tony Hibbert, who even matches Carragher in being an Everton supporter. Tho' to be fair he does trail him by a long way in own goals...

Ach Swarbs; Carra is like Rat. I mean Gary. Last of a breed. Love em or hate em you bloody respect them.

When we all look through our various shades of red tinted glasses, these are the men we'll point to....and with a good bloody reason.

He also trails him by about 400 appearances <ale> and like Stevie G he's not really "from the people" he's practically from St Helens <laugh>

Oh I do respect Carragher. I just thought it was funny that on a thread set up to show respect to one of your greatest players of the last twenty years, one of your fans felt the need to try and use him to score points against a rival. Says a lot about the mentality of some people <whistle>

Damn right, gotta hate those plastic players. If they were real fans Stevie and Tony would be flying down the wings for Saints RLFC <laugh>
