True but Carragher's book is also about four or five years old now, plus Gerrard says similar in his book too
Jamie Jnr joined the academy last year, be nice if he makes the grade and carries the family name on at the club. http://www.kopsource.com/jamie-carraghers-son-joins-liverpool-academy/
Good on him. I repect people like Carragher, blokes who play hundreds of games for their home town club, or even their adoptive town club, and never leave. I like that. There've always been loads at United and Liverpool have a couple in Carragher and Gerrard.
Don't remind me, another one we let slip through the net. He scored for us in his testimonial the other year. I know a couple of lads who know him socially & they say he's a top bloke.
Funny you say that because I reckon if Carra became a manager, he would employ aggressive and attacking tactics!
Complete legend and always will be. I feel certain he will remain attached to the club and there is every possibility he will one day become manager of Liverpool FC. Oh and NOF. If you told Carragher to his face that he's a BS, you'd regret opening your cakehole. He hates EFC with a passion Enjoy your retirement as a footballer Carra, but you still have much work to do here
Gutted, but I suppose he recognises the fact he's getting on a bit. Best wishes whatever you do Carra - you'll always be a legend.
Ian Ayre: "In line with Jamie's wishes we will wait until the season concludes before giving him the true recognition he deserves. We will also wait until that time to comment further regarding what involvement he may have with the club going forward."
