What scouser did was horrible but I actually do think this guy should be prosecuted as it was obvious that he was illegally using a hand held mobile device In his car.
I know. If anything the Dad seems happier she got spat on, getting all giddy over it. Until then his child was actually an unnecessary distraction.
Sorry - it was a joke. I have been accused on here by a number of our less upright posters of being a man utd fan as I have on a number of occasions referred to them as Utd.
That's a bit selective. Everyone on our board agrees he's a dick for doing it. A few (including myself) have also said the dad is a dick for using his phone, filming out a side window while driving with a kid in the car as well. Both idiots.
Two blokes arguing over a football match and the teenage daughter is the one with the brains to tell them to pack it in. What's new?
They both are dicks mate. The difference for me though is one is a ex pro footballer who kids still look up to. Fair play he’s come out and apologised but if he’s on MNF then if a player spits he cannot really be in a position to comment again can he though bud.
The police have spoken to the driver of the vehicle involved in Spitgate with Carragher. I think he's gonna get six points (which is more than the mackems have picked up so far in 2018).
I thought about this last night, there is no way he can keep his job realistically. It has removed any credibility in terms of judging the controversial incidents which take place on a football field. If he condemns someone for a bad tackle, spitting incident, or other offence. It will just be you're a fine one to talk. In some ways I'd be surprised if Sky keep him on as he is a weakness for them now. However it was interesting they only suspended him. Probably seeing if it all died down before making judgement as the Neville-Carra axis is a big selling point for Sky. Plus players don't lose their job for spitting or biting people so it wouldn't be that big a shock if that teflon like ability carried on post career.
Suspended until the end of the season. Maybe the FA should follow suit if anyone is found guilty of the same offence on the pitch....yeah right, like that will ever happen!
Its such a cop out though isn't it? Lets hope it all blows over in the next few months. If we spat on someone and were captured on video, then it was shown to our place of work, we wouldn't expect to retain our jobs. My job doesn't involve me judging others behaviour either.
