Good player but we have a lot of strikers, two of which are "prospects" themselves (Ranger and Carroll), and Vela isnt the most prolific player so maybe it would have been a gamble.

The only thing we really need is to replace Routledge, who shouldnt have gone. We might not need to though if LuaLua, HBA and Raylor are back soon

Would love Pardew, Cashley or whoever is in charge of signing players to sign someone.

But wouldn't want to ruin team spirit. So it's a tough call.
