    Paul Merson talking about the appointment on Carlos Carvalhal on Sky Sports at December 30th 2017

    Merson: "Swansea appointing Carlos Carvalhal is unbelievable and if they go down this season, they will go down again after that!
    How can you get sacked by a team struggling in the Championship and get a Premier League job five minutes later?"

    Carlos is a breath of fresh air. He got it wrong against Hudders but tell me a manager that dont get it wrong sometimes....I think if we do stay up then Carlos will be a wanted manager. We should take a chance and put him on a longer better contract before the season is over.

    If you like them Stats which is the worst i have ever seen then that is your choice. I happen to believe that we had 80 minutes that Carlos could have changed things and should have against a relegation rival that we could beat with 10 players if we tried....19% of the ball and the rest of the stats was shocking and only by the grace of god they never scored......

    Fcuk his sayings on T-shirts they are not going to save us....Improving the way we play is what counts and hardly getting out of our own half for the last two games and threatening the goal is what counts. We have been absolutely terrible lately and a massive improvement is needed or all the good work in Carlos's honeymoon period will have been for nothing.....We really need to get our act together and go for the win against Man United because if we go there to park the bus and try to defend for 90 minutes then we will be slaughtered and our goal difference could be our downfall in the end......And it wont do our confidence any good playing WBA at their place and if we lose that then it will be too difficult to stay out of the bottom three...
