Just can't see it happening mate. Big target man seems to be Rodgers's preferred style, and it's what we've been linked with since Suarez left bar Sanchez, who was a last minute, world class player who was available at the time. Don't think we'll see a SAS style attack anytime soon.
I don't think it will happen but then, nor did I think we'd get Firmino either so there is always a glimmer of hope I just hope the idea of a target man isn't based on him partnering Studge as he's never fit long enough. Having said that, Origi and Ings will both probably be better with a partner
nah someones got a hard on for a target man but ALL the direct evidence points to rogders not wanting one. 1. carroll being shunted out 2. rodgers describes borinin as powerful. 3. lambert being unused while stelring fannied about 4. balotelli dressing downs time and again and mystery absences. There is a huge weight of evidence that rodgers doesn't want one... period. someone does though.. no question.
Rodgers wanted Bony and Lambert last season. And he likes to play with 1 lone striker throughout his career, bar the 6 months with SAS.
