10 min run around for Hayes to get a goal or two... that would be nice... or Taylor and Morrison to score because then that's all our usual outfielders scoring this season :D

It's a delicate situation, Stu and I wouldn't like to have to call it. AllHell is a top bloke and he tried his level best, but when someone has a personality that ignores all the norms that everyone else just takes for granted and believes that guidelines are for other people, there's not an awful lot anyone can do about it.

    Full time 4-0.

Fantastic response to last week, seems like everyone (even Hughes) played well.

Watch out Wycombe, here we come.

Only down side in my opinion was Huddersfield winning, other then that practically a perfect day for us in our league, obv Millwall winning and palace not good (glad I didn't go out in Leicester wearing my charlton shirt incase I bumped into one of the bad crowd of millwall fans :p

It was a good game for CP. Not many would have picked the team he did but he was fully vindicated in picking Hughes Green and Kermit, so it would be nice if his detractors would come on and give him a bit of credit.

Lisbie scored in the 6th minute of added time. He is more help to us playing for Orient than he ever was when on our books.

Must say to Chris Powell, Sorry I even had fleeting doubts about your judgement, Was happy for you to tinker & think I understand the reasons, we can't play the same team the entire season. But am so impressed your choice of Kermit seems to be coming off & that Solly's dropping was a one off. Although Green had a good game, by his recent standards, still feel Waggy could have done just as well (& would have done better with the early chance). There again your judgement has out done mine every time so on balance its for the best I'm in the stands & your in the dug out. I would suggest no more tinkering for the Preston & Huddersfield matches.

Have to say this was one of our best performances for a long while, and credit to Carlise for trying to play passing football.

    Ratings:

Hamer (7) - Average distribution, but one awesome kick for BWP kick and a great penalty save. Don't understand people who don't rate him

Solly (7) - Great to see back in the side, standard performance from a great player.
    Taylor (7) - Composed
    Morrison (7) - Composed
Wiggins (9) - What a player we might have on our hands here. Excellet in defence and amazing in attack, one of the few players that consistantley beats his man. Could have had a goal and 3/4 assists today.

Green (7) - The kind of performance we have been calling for, great game
Hollands (7) - Composed and did his job
Hughes (7) - Fair play, I did hate this player. More of this and I say bring him in instead of Stephens. Hard working and a calming influence.
    Jackson (7) - Solid game

BWP (7) - Good movement and did very well for his goal.
Kermo (8) - Two goals and great link up play with BWP and the midfeild, what more needs to be said?

    Waggy (6) - Few runs
    Euell (6) - Composed
Hayes (6) - Too late for impact

Great game, great passing, great scoreline. Very very very happy today

P.S. I was on the first page of the valley review today, im the handsome lad with the chinstrap pondering tatics at Stevenage!

It must be said that Carlisle were feeble, but today's was a terrific performance.

I didn't think Hollands and Hughes would work, but both of them played well, and the fact that I couldn't tell you the names of Carlisle's midfield says it all (I was listening to CAFC Player).

Interesting food for thought regarding Stephens' absence - on his day he is superb but sometimes he can go missing in games. Today should send a message to him that his spot in the team is not guaranteed.

Well played Hamer for saving the penalty, too.

    My moot points -

    Great for the first hour.
    Disappointed we didn't score ten.
    Hughes was excellent.
    Wiggins MOM.
I am happy to swallow my words regarding Kermit and Green. Top notch, both of them.
The Carlisle keeper will be having nightmares for some time to come.
Referee was great in the first half. Plop in the second.
    Really happy.

What I find interesting is that Hughes did well, but not in a way that you would say we couldn't perform like that with Stephens also, we can only get better with him back in the side.

Wiggins was the highlight, however Green was what we needed. His quality of delivery, willingness to attack the defender and beat him is what sadly Waggy hasn't done.

Biggest praise goes to Powell for tweaking the teams mentality, i.e. stop pumping it to Kermo's head and look for his chest and feet, which meant we could play along the floor, great. Carlisle weren't poor, we just didn't let them get a foot in the game.
