Wasn't really too bothered losing to Palace when going home from the game on Tuesday.

Then i just saw the quarter final draw. D'oh!

Would have been a good trip...

Ah well hopefully we'll but going up there this time next year anyway

Our players were rested and ripped Boro apart. Those 3 points showed the justification of Adkins decision. The team on Tuesday tried and it would have been good to play at OT (practice for next year:grin:) but not important in the scheme of things.

Couldn't disagree more,i look at it totally different,i'm thankful we didn't get through because if we did we may start thinking about old trafford and the big game instead of concentrating on the league. To be honest i've never rated cups anyway and i also have never been one of these fans who like to see us play a big team, couldn't give 2hoots about the big boys,i just wanna see saints win! also i don't think it's nice to want to see Man utd on the end of another big hiding at home! haha.

Nope, fed up of playing Man Utd in the cup. Bored of them. Big smile came across my face when I saw the draw. As I said the other day, I'd have been gutted if Palace had got Arsenal away, Liverpool at home or Cardiff home or away.

I couldn't believe little Aldershot had to share their gate money. I know it's the rules and we'd probably have done the same, but ManU probably just bought another couple of cases of red wine. Aldershot's owner said it was only the TV money that put them into profit; the extra gate money was taken up by the costs of improving facilities and painting the offices.
