GOAL: Cardiff City 0-1 QPR
Andre Gray (37 mins)

After a quiet opening half hour, QPR have opened the scoring in south Wales.

Andre Dozzell sends an impeccable pass from near the halfway line which picks out Andre Gray, who's completely unmarked in the box. He casually turns and slots the ball past Alex Smithies.

Lovely goal, we keep our record going of continuous goals scored in the league, 27 games. Cardiff still haven't scored in the first half this season.

Whilst looking pretty much in control, we have been very sloppy in possession.
Barbet and Moses in particular have given the ball away time after time.
Dozzell has impressed again and it was a sensational pass to release Gray, who for once, wasn't on his heels and finished well.
Get a second and it'll be happy days.

Only just started watching, so thanks for the brief summary.

What kind of formation are we in today? Are we trying anything different? Getting more through balls and looped through balls over?

Any injuries?

Looking at the lineup, we're playing 5 at the back?

Not been a good half until one pass from Dozzell and an excellent finish from Gray.

Johansen and Moses seem off today.

Adomeh is not as brilliant...To be honest pretty mediocre performance but for one pass and one finish.

On the technical front. I have right commentary...but when I celebrated the goal in my what's app group of people from Surrey and Ipswich they hadn't yet seen the goal. I am obviously about 10-15 seconds ahead of them.
Odd

Sorry Swords, but I ain't dressing up hopeless ****ers as Messi impersonators. Odebajo gave the ball away every single time he touched it in that half, what do you want me to say its like watching Scholes ffs ?

Swords??????? Really a case of mistaken identity.......

Where did that come from?

Not going to lie to you, Cardiff v QPR has not been a classic so far.

Cardiff had a chance in the fourth minute and then it's been 30 minutes with nothing to write home about, a bit of an issue for me, whose job it is to, you know, write home about stuff.

Anyway, we waited and we waited and then QPR scored an absolutely fantastic goal, out of absolutely nothing.

Andre Dozzell split Cardiff apart with one pass and Andre Gray produced a Premier League quality finish past Alex Smithies.

Cardiff will need to come from behind again, although as least they are only 1-0 down, not 3-0 behind like they were at Stoke.

Stat from red button for those listening to the wrong cell commentary and anyone else who missed it (if this has been posted previously I apologise). QPR were unbeaten in their first 6 league games the last 4 times that happened they were promoted.
