Please explain how I have "let this board down". ? Whilst not a physical or theoretical scientist I do have a general understanding of what the work at CERN is about. However, I would feel more comfortable if you were able to have a learned discussion with me regarding either Corporate Strategy or Competitive Analysis. Then let's see if you are eiher Beavis or Butthead.
Didums, did we have a sense of humour failure? I'm sorry, can I kiss it better? BTW, I love Wales, pity it's wasted on the welsh ;-)
I think what he is trying to point out that a sheep shagger made the thing. That guy doesn't know how it works either, he just built it from plans given to him by people from other countries, just none from Wales ;-)
Craig Bellamy on the scenario if he gets a game and ultimately scores against his hometown club. "I certainly won't celebrate. I tried not to against Man City [another former club; in the semi-final], I tried to hold myself back. Really I didn't celebrate that much but in the occasion and the moment you get a little bit carried away. I have no aspirations of celebrating. But I have to be on the pitch first and foremost before I think about scoring. "It will be a strange situation as it's the first time I've ever played against them. It's not something I've looked forward to doing, to be honest. My father's a big Cardiff fan and it's the club I used to go to when I was very young. I set one ambition in my life to play for them and I was able to do that."
he's a professional footballer paid to play football by LFC, and should therefore give 100% to their cause, although he's being honest to everyone about his views, certain people might not like to hear what he's said there......
Cant see why Swamp,He is making it plain he wants to play and score but he is wary of how he'll react if he does and he'll do his utmost to respect Cardiff City and their supporters.
You are right Swamp. Liverpool pay his wages and he is a professional. He always wanted to play for us but it never stopped him doing everything he could to score against us. As you say he's being honest.
One thing you can be sure of is he'll give 100% He's a Liverpool player playing in a Cup Final...just happens to be against his home town club... He's got every right to celebrate if he scores imo? (I just hope he doesn't)
He's a brilliant player and one we should have kept 1st time around, and i wish we would have got him even earlier in his career
absolutely, but at the end of the day he's got to put any emotions he has for cardiff to one side if he plays as he's paid to play football.....i'd be pissed off if anthony gerrard or someone said 'i'm not looking forwards to playing against my team liverpool, it will be awkward and i dont know how to react if i score'... he obviously wont score but you get my drift...
Joking aside Craig Noone lifelong Liverpool fan(Brighton)got slated by many seagull's fans for making a similar statement before we twatted them last week.
i dont care if i get stick for this, if i was a professional footballer playing for an english team, and i played against cardiff in the final i would still be desperate to win a trophy.......
lol thats my worry...he isn't known for his finesse at the best of times. I think our 1st choice CB is available again so he might not even get a game. Anyway, I'm off...Nos da pawb
But why bring nationality into it,put it into a city against city context. Would you be as happy if you played against Cardiff for Swansea and ended up the winner in aWembley Cup Final?
