Some folks really have no business airing their opinions on social media. They have the right to, of course, but....
Tbh I don’t think he has been that great compared to his partner but still part of a winning team so doing something right.
Trouble is that the anonymity of social media really brings out the nasty side of some people.. And of course it is their posts that are noted...
I reported earlier that my Wi-Fi was playing up but since discovered it was due to my Wi-Fe watching videos on Youtube! She has been admonished, apologies received and knows not to do this when I am watching Watford!
What happens is that in real time the player makes a mistake and an ignorant but passionate fan sends abuse. Then later when we have played well the same fan then goes over the top celebrating and praising the same player he previously abused. I'm sure we have all been in a crowd at a match and had to put up with some idiot shouting abuse near us.
You're not wrong. There was one such character in the group I used to go to home & away matches with. When he wasn't abusing the ref/linesmen he'd be yelling angrily at our players for something only he had seen happen. I was told not long ago that he stopped going after we won promotion to the EPL the first time - no-one seemed to know why.
Have to admit to being a bit too vociferous on occasion. I don't go so far as abusing players players but I do shoot from the lip more often than I ought: the price of unbridled passion, perhaps. Shout at the telly too much too. That's what I like about this forum... get the chance to think a bit before hitting the big red button. Just a matter of keeping on taking those chances!
Of course the same people heaping praise on Munoz and the team were probably the same ones moaning about them and demanding insist sackings! Funny what a few good results does to the mind set and mentally of supporters.
Recently upgraded to fibre and getting 60m at the router but the signal to my office just disappears and I have no idea why. I wonder if the aerial on my PC is not picking up the signal well or something. I have no idea how to test it. Signal seems fine elsewhere in the house although it drops off a bit as you get away from the router.
How far away from the router is your office? If it's not too far, you could try running an ethernet cable from the router to your PC. My smart TV is only about five feet away from the router and I actually get better connection with an ethernet cable than without.
Obvious really He had nothing to moan about any more so had to hide I wonder if he has resurfaced since our relegation Wasn't Old Nick by any chance was it
I would have thought that our performances in that first EPL season would have had him salivating at the prospect of hurling abuse for 90 minutes every Saturday afternoon... And I'm reliably informed that he's still in hiding.
We did ok under Flores in the first season - wasn’t the most exciting at times but generally until last season our time was fairly solid. Mind you as I say we had people demanding sacking Munoz and writing letters to the board asking for answers. Guess we are all fickle and can change like the wind.
Ah sorry. Thought you meant the last promotion to the Premier league - not before it became called that Well hope no one was complaining then as we came 2nd!
Forgot about that one ! Probably for good reason. Even that had a few surprises though. TBH injuries hit us hard then too.
