Ah well, we're still top! Other results worked for us again. Sounds like we didn't deserve much tonight though.
Problem with adkins is his bench's are usually too defensive, with martin and hammond on the bench with saints chasing the game it doesnt give us much options going forward
Well this is a positive end to the game at least and we also have the positive point that we will still be top at the end of play seen as Boro v Leicester ended 0-0. Now we need to make some fresh changes for the next home game.

Ah well, we're not gonna win em all, especially away at teams like Cardiff. Put in perspective, Saints had more possession and more goal attempts and got done by a route one goal after a penalty appeal for us and a defensive error. It's not as if we were dominated or played really badly.
I was actually thinking this too, I guess this is the problem with only a five man bench and away from home I guess you might want to shut up shop if youre winning. PS. Sorry for the repetitive posts don't know what happened :s.
From the commentary, it sounded like we were the better team...in every area save finishing, which is typically our strength. Nine times in ten, we come away from that with at least a point. Not too concerned unless it becomes a habit.
So where does it say EPL? http://www.premierleague.com/page/Home Can't see ENGLISH on the home page of the official site. You must be mistaken!
Well disappointing result for me, sounded like a few players off colour tonight. Be interesting to hear people's thought who were there, sounded like great support again Oh well onwards and upwards to St Mary's on Saturday COME ON YOU SAINTS
Run the BBC predictor before this weekends games, had Saints in 5th place after tonight, so not so bad.
its what its been referred to for a number of years, im sure it was changed when super Swansea were promoted
I did say not long ago, that before we all start getting ahead of ourselves, we should really wait until a few Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday's have come along - especially where the Tuesday (or Wednesday!) is an away game - and see how we cope. Disappointed with the result obviously, but hey things happen. I don't expect us to finish top 6, let alone top 2. Bring on Watford, and another striker in the loan window/free transfer.
