    But his body is broken
Been injured 70% of this season for metz

Think he'd be the same if he stayed

He wanted to leave. He also didn’t have anywhere near the dribbling ability Delap did. He was good 1v1 but didn’t have the pace

Quite a good point as he can play that role, but he was less reliable than Connolly unfortunately.

Personally I don't see the point in signing second striker types when we recruit again in summer. We really just need 2 powerful no 9's in the Delap mould so it's not as critical if one or the other gets injured.

I think that's slightly misleading because our form has dropped as a result of not having Delap and Connolly available and/or in form, so of course we've won less without them. But sadly that's the situation we still find ourselves in, so the choice for now is between Ohio, Sharp, Connolly in his current condition or no natural striker. People always want a striker and they always want Tufan, but Carvalho, Philogene and Ömür are must-picks, so we can't really have all of these things at once. I don't think Ohio has a very strong claim to a place at all, Sharp is possibly the most realistic but then people would complain if he was picked too.

Tufan gives us physicality, which the rest of our midfielders lack. He can also score a penalty. I like Carvalho, Philogene and Ömür as well but Ohio is a bit left field if we can't buy him at the end of the season. Sharp is past it for starting and doesn't really suit our style of play. 10-15 minute cameos only please

Anyone ITK now how Pandur is rated at the club, must be a reason he isn't getting a chance.

I'd guess now isn't the time to rock the boat by starting Pandur. Allsop hasn't been so bad he needs replacing urgently.

If you think Sharp is a better option than Ohio based on what we’ve seen from them both to date, you must have a very different view to me of what they both might offer. Ohio may be raw but for me, he’s shown more in his limited opportunities than Sharp has. For me, I would only stick Sharp on as a last resort when you need a goal and are hoping the ball drops in the box right in front of him, although the last time that happened, he failed to score.

I just think Ohio has looked a bit of a buffoon in all of his appearances so far. I think people are always more excited by mysterious signings from abroad than they are by English players, and more excited by youngsters than by old heads, and this plays into the way Sharp and Ohio are perceived. I don't think Sharp has looked too bad at all really, but I trust there's a good reason he isn't getting on the pitch so really I don't think either of them are very likely to play tomorrow and.

We'll get beat again ...and our fabulous manager will blame it on " our fantastic group of players" being tired after our fantastic displays against stoke and tws....plus all the personal " trauma" of the last few days.........dont worry too much rosenior....you'll soon be taking over from southgate

Gotta be a bit worried for Rosenior if we keep up this poor run of results. I can't see how he keeps his job if we finish in a similar league position to last season.

I think that’s a bit harsh on Ohio who I thought looked a lot better in the last game where he started and I’d rather have him coming on at the end of a game where we need a goal to cause a bit of mayhem than Sharp coming on and having zero impact as has been the case every time he’s been involved.
