That’s up there with the strongest starting 11s in the league. Although the Chelsea boys let it down considerably. I really don’t rate any of the three at all

Love to see how many times we lost the ball. Just pass it to one of our players and move. It’s not rocket science. The amount of times Hector randomly hoofed it to no one. IF you do that hoof it over their back four not on to there centre halves heads! Dicko needs someone next to him an all.

I can't understand why we are playing so many long balls upfield to our strikers, both Campbell and Dicko are both only 5ft 8ins surely if this how we intend to play we need a tall, strong, target man to hold the ball up and compete with defenders in the air. As we have not got one we have to play the ball on the ground and pass through the oppositiion surely.

I need to reconsider the time and money I spend watching this club.
I was well pissed off after Saturdays game knowing again I put City first on a Saturday.
I wont be going this Saturday I need a break from live games my next game will be Reading.

With the number of immaculate passers the team possesses I'm surprised at that too :bandit:

    Definitely.

Not as trendy to put him on team sheets cos he didn't come from Liverpool but really Stewart has done absolutely **** all of note here or indeed in his career to date. Larsson is like Meyler in that he's undervalued. He turns up every week and is never less than 7 out of 10, which is far more than can be said of most of our 'better' players.

What is the point of hitting long balls upfront for it to come straight back?

Agreed not many but surely this is what they should be doing in training, a simple wall pass is not difficult, play the ball and run for the return. At the, moment our players pass the ball and stand still. This is what should be worked on in training.

I suggest a quick email to the club highlighting this training method - you've got the job sorted Mazz <ok>

Indeed he does, Campbell can play an incisive ball, Seb L can too - I'm struggling now though.

I think with regards passing the ball, although we are not gifted, I`ve noticed that our entire team cn be very static and therefore easy to pick up, thus making the passes slightly more difficult (not excusing the simplest of passes going stray). While it is basic stuff, you would have thought that coaching would include simplistic pass, move and find space drills, to give the passer options. I would like to think Adkins would implement this at the earliest opportunity after drilling the defensive side of things which it would appear our great Russian friend forgot about !!!!

Aye one step at a time. Sort the defence. Make us hard to beat. Then get the midfield to be tough and mean and then work on the attacking part of it. Cardiff was a Meyler game. Tough on nige with injuries.

I totally agree, when Bruce came in first things he said was build a team from the back, and to be fair to him that appeared to work out alright.
