Oh ****, I hadn't realised you have so many games in hand. Have you only played 26? You've played 3 less than Fulham and Cardiff? And 2 less than WBA and Crystal Palace? You ought to be ok then.
Could have been worse, quite a satisfactory set of results, next week is bigger now than it was this morning
10 West Ham 28 -4 31 11 Aston Villa 28 -7 31 12 Stoke 29 -14 31 13 Hull 28 -5 30 14 Swansea 28 -4 29 15 Norwich 29 -22 29 16 Crystal Palace 28 -19 27 17 West Brom 28 -11 25 18 Cardiff 29 -28 25 19 Sunderland 26 -16 24 20 Fulham 29 -36 21
I'm perfectly happy with that result. One down two more to go. A point out of it with multiple games in hand. Cardiff were always going to struggle. Wba are in the faeces.
I think it's fair to say if we're to stay up we're gonna need to win our home games, with pretty much all of them against lower half teams, but as of yet we've struggled in those games. We've lost to Villa, Fulham and Hull, drawn with Norwich and just about beaten Stoke. If we don't beat Crystal Palace, or even worse lose to them, then it shows no real sign of change to our other home games and with our away games we can't afford to continue our home form, otherwise we will go down
From the 1st of January we have played 4 league home games & we only won 1 game so poyet's eleven is spot on about our home form.
