It may be that, with nothing to play for, Luzon wants to see all his senior professionals play to assess them for next season. So far he has retrieved Wilson and Church from the back of the store cupboard.

What's happened to Onyewu? Even Lennon is ahead of him now. No point in him sticking around. Shouldn't he looking for a club in the States?

Then there is Moussa. Anyone remember what he looks like?

Moussa is injured. I don't know about Onyewu but I presume that after seeing him play Luzon has reached the same conclusion as me, he is a Donkey.

I'm assuming Igor is being rested. There was a part of me that saw the last two starting line up's, and thought 'bugger, he's started tinkering pointlessly'. On both occasions, GL has corrected inbalences, and we have gone on to win. Also, there have been mitigating circumstances like knocks and things, so I'll let it go, but we are rotating a lot just lately, and the performances have dipped.
Having whinged miserably, we won for the third time in eight days against a team on the up, following up a great win against Forest. Suddenly, we are vaguely looking at how the teams above us are doing rather than Wigan, Rotherham and Blackpool (obviously exemping our Friends in Bermondsey). It's a great feeling, and the nice thing is seeing the self belief return. I look forward to our matches again now.

The remainder of the season now is all about one game - Good Friday at the Den. I will be there, hoping and praying that this is the day that our players finally turn up in the Derby game, with the added bonus that we relegate them on the same day.

Bournemouth on the final day should also be a good occasion if the seasides have a chance of promotion to the PL that day.

Imagine the police are dreading it coming down to millwall Charlton <laugh>. Alas I'll be there, being held back for 90 minutes.

Read a few match reports now - these are the kind of wins that are sometimes better than the 3-0's. Character building. The players reactions on Twitter seems to back this up.

Very true captain. No matter who you have in the team, life is never as simple as turning up and winning 3-0 week after week, and beating Forest and then Cardiff away shows we are starting to gel. Last time we finished a season strongly, Slater and Jiminez did'nt have the money to even keep the squad together let alone strengthen it, and the season after was a disaster. Different owner now. Cash should'nt be a problem. As for his ideas of running a football club, we'll find out this summer.

I want my pre-season prediction to come true, ie when Joe Gomez got his chance he would take it so well that he would finish the season as first choice CB. I don't think anyone is undroppable though, Luzon doesn't appear to have favourites, not yet at any rate, and he seems to have the makings of a very good manager. When he was appointed it was a PR shambles, but I'd rather have that than a slick PR operation and wrong decision (which the appointment of Bob was).

The whole Luzon situation was a disaster, and you do have to commend him for the difficult early obstacles (loud chants of ''you don't know what you're doing'').

Tony Watt has been a revelation, and the players have dug deep in several of the games, something they weren't doing for Bob. Going 1-0 down at Cardiff, you still fear the worst due to that horrible 3 month period we had, but by the sounds of it they took it as a kick up the arse and showed who the better team were. It could have gone so differently when Henderson went off, but it's good to hear the spirit has returned to the camp.

It does beg the question what happens when players like JJ return. I can't see him coming back in unless we suffer from injuries/suspensions. And I don't think many could argue that.

Luzon, technically has had a more experienced team at his disposal too. Eagles, Johnson, Diarra are all incredibly experienced players at both Championship and Premier League level.

When Eagles comes on, he looks so comfortable on the ball, and is all round better player than Bulot. It won't be long before he's given favour over. Same with Diarra, he looked better than Yoni Buyens when in midfield.

Like the adage goes, "experience counts for more" and that's something that a lot of these liege and network imports don't have. Hopefully, Roland has figured this one out.

I do agree he's had more at his disposal, but I don't want to take anything away from him either. He came in at a horrible time and was under the cosh before a ball had been kicked. He deserves credit for that.
