Bristol? A great city? Wake up and take a reality check fella, it's a ****hole, and you know it. I ask again. Because your getting a 21,000 seater stadium, this suddenly makes your **** team better? Get real
Gashead by name, gashead by nature judging by the amount of expelled hot air. 21,700 doesn't sound like the club is expecting as much as our visitor would aspire to. In a city of over 600k (albeit with two teams) you'd expect them to build a larger stadium if they expected to go as far as our friend suggests. Never mind, I'm glad that the two South Wales clubs have given our guest something to aim for.
Why would we aspire to be like Cardiff? Massive debts, which you get rid of on the condition you change your entire kit, club history and club name Your stadium is what, 5000 more? We can add 5000 without any problems and will, if we make it to the championship soon
Whats happened to the Cardiff/Swansea banter /WUM board ? All of a sudden we seem to have a bored pig farmer from mighty brizzle roversgetting his/her 5 mins of fame by mixing in with his/her betters . Lets get back to the jacks calling us big headed underachievers with no hope of promotion and us calling them pegselling gypo`s and still the second team in wales ...........never gave brizzle rovers a thought till ol Gethro here started ,i thought they were part timers playing on a rented rugby pitch somewhere and brizzle tittys little second side . Anyways i`ll put this thread back on track After swansea`s new manager Louidrap drags the club into relagation do you think they will go with big John Hartson this time ? .................;O) JH
As much as I cant stand Bristol City at least they can get decent support. Rovers are just a little club who belong in the lower leagues. Always had rubbish support and have no idea why any wurzel would support them. Saying that wurzels are just simple folk so nothing should suprise me.
Hilts, you are just jealous you don't live in Bristol, a far superior City to that of Cardiff, the biggest hole in the world I suppose Rovers could have been an average championship side should we have spent 100m on players and put ourselves in massive debt, only to change the name/shirt/colours/everything else about the club and our proud history
Only changed our name once from Riverside to Cardiff City Rovers on the other hand ? Black Arabs F.C. / Eastville Rovers / Bristol Eastville Rovers / Bristol Rovers. Shirt/Colours This will be our second change Chocolate brown and gold checkered shirt (Riverside) Blue Red Rovers ? Black shirts with a yellow sash Blue and white hooped shirts Black and white striped shirts White shirts Blue shirts Blue and white quarters Blue pinstripes Blue and white stripes Blue striped quartered Nickname Bluebirds Rovers? The Pirates The Gas Proud History Cardiff 15 years in the top division FA cup winners FA cup runner up Twice League Cup runner up Rovers ? The highest position in the football ladder achieved by Rovers at the end of season is sixth place in the second tier.
"Why would we aspire to be like Cardiff? Massive debts, which you get rid of on the condition you change your entire kit, club history and club name" no fkr told me about these changes......what we called now and who bought the history off us en i like the rovers>>>.....top cider drinking music wait there!!
tim tan seen smiling as the bluebird logo gets torn down to make way for wrexhams red dragon.....Oh well the malaysians have now got a team to call their own as the poor cardiff fans are left with no option if they want to watch championship football to watch a foreign team in their city.....sad day for cardiff as they see the final nail in their coffin to a club they cannot truly call their own anymore......so sad......and a dark cloud over cardiff....
