Cardiff! The poetic grim irony in the malevolent wheel of fortune that is football turns another few degrees. The pain of missing out to Cardiff for promotion in the playoffs to the very near promotion to the PL at their place before finally sealing promotion that year to now crossing paths in the wrong direction. Absolutely grim! Nevertheless, well done to them and to their decent fans. Hope the Welsh police can afford the cost of derby day.
Yup its the division where the tallest dwarf comes out on top. Doesn't mean its easy to get out of, but its just crap.
What if we suggest a swap with Cardiff where we get Helguson, Smith and Connolly in exchange for proven, experienced premier league players in Zamora, Granero/SWP and Anton Ferdinand? They have £25 mill to spend apparantly so this should be doable.
I really do think Zamora and SWP will shine in the CCC. Not so sure on Granero! Can you imagine him playing on a Tuesday night in Doncaster of Sheffield?!
To be fair I can understand that, what I can't understand is teams doing it after 30 seconds so that with 5 minutes on the clock the ball has been out of play for 3 1/2 of them just because there's been 2 goal kicks.
SWP could potentially be playing against brother BWP (currently with Brentford) in the Championship next season? BWP, unlike SWP, seems to be able to score goals in the lower leagues (5 in 5 games for Bees).
Id love it if you won all your remaining games but you took control of the championship the season your got promoted and its pretty much the same bunch of teams if you have to do it again im sure you will. good luck to you from Cardiff, jck
Perhaps we picked the wrong South Korean player to promote our South East Asian connections. Looks like Cardiff & Swansea made better choices. At least Sukky has youth on his side, so perhaps he will be one for the future? Cheers, well done on your escape from the league of hell and enjoy your time in the land of the giants. If you can do as well as the Swans you'll be laughing. You picked up a few of our old boys to get you up. Fancy a few of the current bunch? They should be in good shape, most haven't broken into a sweat this season.
