    This season is bloody ridiculous.

    It's been stupidly unpredictable.

Stoke and Norwich both winning would be VERY annoying. Thank God Liverpool have taken West Ham.

depends how you look at it.. Cardiff, West Ham & West Brom lose, Palace, Norwich & Stoke win

but Fulham & Sunderland still to play and they're bottom 2.

too early to worry about other teams' results though, Swansea away only the only concern

Hoddle just said spurs shouldn't have sold huddlestone and they've replaced him with inferior players

Except for West Ham, probably the worst set of results possible for us. I want the bottom three to keep on losing - unless we are one of them! Go to get something from Swansea.

I disagree about Palace beating Cardiff - I see that as a good outcome for us. I'm all for Palace winning the odd game against some of the lesser teams.

    He's right of course <whistle>

Hoddle should be England manager. I wanted him to be chosen over 'arry and Woy. Oh well.

I can see your point on this but I think I'm right in saying that they have now beaten West Ham, Sunderland, Cardiff and us this season. That's four wins in the mini league that is the bottom half of the table. They are now beating the teams they need to beat, as we did until we played them. If they keep doing that they will be safe. Pulis is a good manager with an impressive track record. He will sort out the defence.

I would rather have Palace seven points behind us than Palace and West Ham both only four points adrift.

I had them as nailed on certainties to go down before the season began, then they got rid of Holoway. Pulis is an entirely different proposition. They are now only in the bottom three on goal difference. West Ham could soon take their place.

So I'll stick to my theory. As long as the bottom three keep losing I'm happy, unless we are one of them.

palace hitting form is not good for us. Not sure how cardiff losing will help. We don't want to be in the mix with 6 teams fighting for 3 spots... we want at least 2 dead certs to go down leaving only one spot to avoid

I think if anything is obvious (other than this post) it's that we're not going to get handed survival on a plate.

Could do with Palace playing an Arsenal/Southampton/Man City soon. Give them a bit of a hiding and knock their confidence back down!

Edit: Just checked and they have Chelsea and Southampton next, hopefully they turn up.

I agree completely. I'd prefer two dead certs and three or four other close to them. Surely they couldn't all win on the last day of the season. To be honest, If we are four points clear of relegation with one game to go I'd be happy.
