It depends what you call large scale mate..15 to 20 lads having a scrap outside a bar, which is what apparently happened at the game with West Ham, or hundreds invading football pitches in Wigan and rioting in the city centre...I'm not condoning the idiots from both sides who were fighting at the West Ham game, but you can't really compare it with the other two..

I can remember Cardiff fans wrecking the coaches, trains and one of our pubs in the city I grew up in.

    Leopards don't.... spring's to mind.

They're all arseholes mate. I condemn violence in any shape or form. (Although in the 70's, setting a wheely bin alight and throwing bottles at the police wouldn't have made the news.) As I said, they're all a bunch of tossers in my eyes and football would be better off without them. It's a sad indictment of society.

Very true: and I hope it gets nipped in the bud, as it is much better these days to when me and thee were youngens..

It still goes on though, away from the public eye. I know it happens at Newcastle games, home and away. I know it does at your games, whoever the opposition. Let all the daft twats who want bother go on a beach somewhere, or on a field, kick seven bells out of each other, and leave everyone else alone. <ok>
