I'd also like to thank Oldsparkey for his comments on here. Quality banter and exchange of information.
Cheers guys - I won't clutter up your prediction thread, so I'll stick this on here. I note from you guy's predictions that apart from "chippy" we haven't got a hope of a win and the best qwe can hope for is a point. That's fair enough and nothing I wouldn't have expected on a club's prediction league thread - just look at ours. I really reckon we can do the biz if (and it's a very big IF) Ole gets the mix right tomorrow. I'm very worried about your midfield ability and have been calling for a 5 man setup ourselves rather than sticking to 4-4-2 that seems to be Ole's preferred (only?) gameplan. In hoping he does, I've gone for a 3-1 win for us. I've already said I think you'll get one past Marshie, but if we can keep it to that, got the feeling we are going get some ourselves. Whatever, a good game in prospect and I'm glad Fer wont be playing - know what I mean guvnors?
Still don't know why his goal was chalked off, unsporting maybe? But when you see the amount of games won from strikers simulating penalties which is a part of the modern game, strictly speaking Fer scored a perfectly good winner.. Not that it matters now.
Sorry I mentioned it - it was only said in jest. Don't want to go down that route again, it was done to death at the time.
No offence meant Rick. I think this match today and the return at Carrow in the New Year are going to have a huge impact on the top of the table come May. If either one of us can take all 6 points from the two games, I'd seriously back that club for auto promo.
I'd just like to add that I see today's game (and our games over the next few weeks) as pivotal to our challenge for being somewhere either automatic promotion or in the play offs for both teams. Thanks Oldsparkey for starting the thread and let's hope for a good competitive game and the result is not influenced by 'dodgy' decisions from the officials!!
