    I think you are understating the issue to be honest.

    He'd never be welcome here after his comments on the club and its fans once he left. I can't remember his exact words but it was along the lines of "the fans were totally unrealisitic to expect to challenge for a title, clubs like Newcastle....." He failed to mention the fact he amongst the rest were on title winning wages or his nights down the quayside drinking god knows what and snorting god knows what with Mr Dyer.
