Spurs are on a different planet to us. They brought £40m of players of the bench and they made the difference by creating the chance for a £17m Brazilian international. Our defense was outstanding, the shots were blocked and pressured, when it was beaten Marshall was incredible. We had a 50/50 goal disallowed, their keeper should have been sent off in the first 10 minutes and Gunnar had a clean sight of goal from 12 yards with 10 minutes to go and the score at 0-0. MM put in place a game plan that almost got something from a game in which we had no chance. It'll be the same for Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and I think Swansea will get similar if slightly less negative tactics. We could have won, we definitely could have drawn. We lost but there's no shame in that. Huge plus points were; The way the whole team defended, lesser teams will struggle to make half the chances Spurs did. Odemwingie looked very classy, if a little rusty, the way he danced around the Spurs defence to set up Gunnar was class. We look like scoring from almost ever corner Witts puts in, we just need to win more corners from that side! We've played 2nd, 5th and 6th of last seasons PL already at home, we'd have all taken 4 points from those games before the season. Our new right back is ****ing brilliant.
