I thought Swansea were poor, might have had 30 passes but they were till in their own half, never looked like scoring. I can see them scrapping it out at the bottom, just think who have they beaten this season ?

No worries Aber - got no problem with the result, have been saying all along that I believe you will be safe this season and there is no shame in losing to you at your home. Was always going to be a close game and the commitment of your players (and the magnificent support of your crowd - bloody hell that was a hostile atmosphere ;) ) meant that you were deserved winners.

Onwards and upwards for both of us. Will also be good to see Tremmel getting some game time after Vorm's mindless sending off - don't know what the feck he was thinking!!!

Nice to see you back posting too - keep the faith mate! <cheers>

When we upped the tempo Swansea couldn't cope. Or maybe they didn't fancy it.

Our players really fought , theirs for the most part didn't want to know and lacked heart and fight.

Their midfield 5 were shocking and Michu looked like a poor mans Bothroyd. They were also nowhere near our fitness levels.

    Deserved win. Easy win.

I fancy us to do the double. Swansea are like Fulham a soft touch. Those teams are made for us.

dunno about that Hilts but well done, good win. Michu is totally sussed by all teams after his wonder season. great save by Marshall early in the match.

don't know what game you were watching but if you ask Marshall he will admit he made a couple of tidy saves

I don't know what game you were watching but you have to beat the keeper to score and Swansea never looked like doing that.

Musty is right on that, Marshie made 3 very good saves and one superb one although Bony was deemed offside. Marshie's save from Du Guzman's free kick was excellent, choosing to shepherd the ball out for a corner when trying to catch it or push it straight out could have given the Swans a goal on a plate.

Vorm had to take one for the team. Campbell had nodded the ball past him and had an open goal (if he caught up with the ball - I have a little doubt on that as the ball ran on quickly) but Vorm was the last man and had no option. At 2 - 0 with only a couple of minutes of added time left they were absolutely dead and buried.
