Match Day Thread Cardiff City v QPR...Fug Me, Another Famous Club!

Today we welcome a famous club to Cardiff City Stadium...s club with which we have history. My old pal Andy Campbell has been ringing me constantly telling me of “that goal”. I notice that it seems to change as the years go on, how he took it down on his chest, ran 59 yards beating three players....lifting it with his left foot, smacking it with his right and breaking the net from 100 yards! Whilst he exaggerates a tad...it was to be applauded! Hmmm 2-0 tonight for city!

Neil Warnock could rotate his Cardiff City squad against QPR, with Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Callum Paterson both in contention for recalls.

The Bluebirds' only injury absentees are defender Sol Bamba (knee) and forward Isaac Vassell (thigh).

QPR centre-back Yoann Barbet is suspended after his red card against West Brom, so Grant Hall will return. Rodney Marsh could get a start after a long layoff...but Gerry Francis unavailable!

Josh Scowen is likely to starts to the midfield as Hoops boss Mark Warburton looks for fresh legs.

Virtually a full squad to chose from with only Bamba and Vassell out. I'm ignoring Jazz and Connolly as they will never be fit - ever.

Rod Marsh had left before I watched QPR at Loftus Road during my student years in SW3. Gerry Francis came after I'd left the area, but in between those two there was a certain Stanley Bowles for me to enjoy - what a player!

While he didn't start last night I see Zohore came on as sub for the Baggies last night. Didn't change the result but looks like he put in a good shift. Just in time for us........

Some fecking match thread this is! Perhaps we'll get something about football/team/manager etc on here after the game?

Couple of football comments at the top of the thread set it off after Masky posted it, but up till now it's wandered nowhere. The support on here for a matchday chat has made it a pointless exercise for Masky or anyone else for that matter - I despair sometimes.

Pissed off with it all and pissing off to the game shortly. Hope I'm in a better mood come 10pm - if we lose, feck knows what I'll do.
