Despite my disappointment at us ditching Farke I'm happy to give it a chance. If we can take fifteen points from our first ten games then I'm ok with that.

 

I think Smith said that Gibson should be back for the Wigan game

 

If I remember aright, what Smith said pre-Cardiff was that Gibson is expected to be back in full training from today, Monday. Whether that means available for the Wigan game is another question?

So, since the millennium we have now won just once in 22 attempts on the first game of the season!

Also, the Cardiff game was the first time we have not fielded a new summer signing since 1998/99

 

Well, I've just now listened to his interview after Saturday's game and he does indeed say he hopes that Gibson will be able to play. This was in answer to a question about the options now that Hanley is out.

 

Both Clubs have been fined for that Melee in the 66th minute, where Hanley, and 3 Cardiff players got booked. Norwich were fine £5000, Cardiff £17,500

 

Where does the money go? FA coffers or charity?
