Going to start calling him Derek.

    Our man Flint!

Wonder what the team record is for consecutive headed goals?

    I'd predicted 2-1.:steam:

So, Flint top scorer, Pack leading assists.
And to think, many of us were desperate to be shot of them last year.<laugh>

Really thought Collins was going to get our first goal with his foot in injury time <doh>

Fabulous hard fought win aside but this City team needs to be judged after playing a top 7-8 team as City are predictable and may struggle against teams with better defences. Same old issue of no creativity through midfield.

It could be argued that we've already played a top eight team and that's why they're not top eight at the moment.

Nice to see MM make some subs before the 85th minute.
Had a positive outcome on the game.

Absolutely, though it would have taken a very special stubborness to ignore the dross served up in the first hour.

Not quite as early as QPR. Two changes after 35 mins.
They were 2 down and being battered though.

Felt for Colwill being hooked just as he was making an impact but what an impact by Giles.

    Its all learning for Colwill.
Just need MM and TC wrapping an arm around him.
Its a squad game especially when games are coming thick and fast.

As I said above, 5 home grown players in the starting line up and the front 3 all Welsh.
    Tan will be happy.
    The fans too.

Scrappy rubbish game for an hour but came to life once the subs were made - earlier for a change from Mick and it made the difference.

Wrong game for Colwill, but he had a go. Caught in the gap between Pack/Ralls and Moore/Harris, he didn't seem to know quite which pair to support - looked a bit lost first half. Also felt sorry for the lad being hooked off at a time when he was starting to get into the game.

Defence looked pretty well set with Sang having a better game than NG had last time out at RWB.

Giles once again made all the difference. I thought Pack and Ralls are forming a great partnership in the middle, they can both defend and push forward.

Still that link man missing though. Hope Colwill gets another chance and takes it.

Just walked to Castle Coch-there’s one of those dragon structures by the moat bearing Rubin’s name like the Keiffer one in North Wales. Didn’t have my phone to take a picture<doh>

BTW, forgot to mention I haven't bet on actual City results so far yet this season - the odds have been too short, but if anyone's interested...........<whistle>
