Anyone notice after Mendez Laing’s run in the 2nd half he was absolutely knackered? A poor game summed up well by Rowett. “We were best in the first half, they were in the second and it was always going to be something quality from either Wallace or Tomlin which could have won it.” Fair comment. I could add that their keeper made a worldy to save from Tomlin whereas our keeper should have done better from Wallace.
Very few opinions about this Millwall game. Sign of the times - disinterest is setting in at the CCS and on this forum - it was so quiet there yesterday and it's gone the same way on here.
Wasn't there so can't comment on the game. Was following text commentary on BBC Live Scores. The lack of incidents on there indicated a very drab game. Some major changes are needed to resurrect anything from this season and I'm not sure Harris is the man or has the squad basis to do it. Warnock Mark II.
Anticipating not a lot tomorrow against a decent SW team who will be still stinging from an amazing comeback by Stoke. If as I suspect we start slowly and try to frustrate SW, we’ll get battered (like Leeds for an hour who switched off as they thought the game was won) so nothing to lose by trying to take it to them. Wishful thinking
I saw parts of the Millwall game. As I am travelling around Thailand at the moment the chances decent WiFi lessen. However, for me the game had some positives. Passing is abysmal at times, but at least we’re trying to play football. NH does seem to have no problem switching formations as the game progresses. We’re never going to match the better teams at football, yet. Do we have the players to play an open game, in part yes, we do. NH has a big job on his hands turning a pig’s ear into a silk purse. However, offload the dross in January and see if we can get in some youngsters.
