An improvement on the Barnsley first half and should be ahead but jeez our midfield is so pedestrian. Why didn’t Morrison head that ball into touch? Thankful Zahore didn’t have that easy chance on his left peg
Swansea 2-1 up at Rotherham, scoring plenty! Begs the question, how many more wins before we say the outrageous “best side in Wales?”
Wilson did what Bacuna couldn’t do in a month of sundays - quality ball through for Moore. Glatzel and Murphy were hopeless. Got to ditch 3 at the back as we haven’t got the midfielders and wing backs necessary for it to work. MM has had time now to realise how poor Vaulks and Bacuna are
Going to need a major restructure in the summer. We won't go down as the bottom clubs keep losing but we're hardly going to trouble the top 10. Not a happy place.
Agree. It's pretty evident that MM has been brought in to make sure we avoid the drop. As you say, I'm sure he'll achieve the aim and will certainly be aided by the clubs at the bottom. Also agree that major changes will be needed in the summer. For the moment, it's good to have halted the run of defeats. Now to start scraping some wins.
We don't want you to do that either. I suppose for the moment, it's good to have football (and I use the word loosely) at all. A few wins now and we'll all feel better. It's been a surreal season for everyone and things like home advantage have hardly been a factor for most clubs. I'm actually looking forward to see how MM does for the rest of the season. Let's hope that the board use the time to finally develop a strategy for meaningful change and development. Hang in there Nin.
What the feck was that team selection and formation. Millwall were garbage and we continue with 3 centre backs all game. And what the feck was he thinking bringing Moore off for Glatzel. The Millwall defenders couldnt believe their luck with that one. Positive 1 point closer to safety.
MM has had 2 games to have a look and he hasn't lost either of them. I think he's right to experiment and lay down a few markers. The alternative with no sign or likelihood of new blood, was to carry on in the Harris way and we would probably have lost both games. I think we all saw things we'd like to have been done differently today but I think a couple of games of trust is in order when MM has such a mamoth task in sorting out the Harris legacy. Onwards and upwards.
Hey I’ll be watching every minute of every game- not sure I’ll enjoy them though if they’re like today
