Bar a 5 minute spell another pathetic performance making Boro look decent.
A better team would have put 5 past us.

Any manager who plays Collins for the whole game deserves sacking just for that. That Boro no 9 was available from Wycombe but we get Collins. He was streets better than that clown.

Agree with that - in fact the worst game for combined team and individual perfomance this season.

We can't do the basics like passing the ball to one another. When a City player did get hold of the ball they looked like they'd never seen one before.

A complete shambles of a team. In fact "team" is the wrong word - looked like a bunch of strangers dragged in off the local park.

Whover the knew guy is, he's got a huge job on his hands.

 

Sounds like each individual's confidence is shot.
It will take a good man manager to build them back up before thinking about tactics.
The sort of thing Colin is good at.

Most of the players know Morison and have seen his acheivements which will help in the short term.
Unfortunately, how the 23s play is very different from the first team (assembly of strangers). What we dont want is a few weeks heading in one direction then starting again heading in another when the new guy arrives. We could be cast adrift before we get any traction.

As big a case as any for developing a culture and style for the future.

 

We just need to be able to scrape enough points to stay up and then a complete overhaul in the summer.
A new manager has got to know how he can persuade quick and dynamic skilful players to come the club.
All we want to to see is some decent and attractive football; which we’ve been starved of for too long.
My gut feeling is we’ll get some old has been and go back to square one. I just don’t have any confidence the clowns on the board in choosing the right man.
