Once again all, I was sh*tting my pants for this one last night, thought you'd batter us if i'm honest. Nice to see Zohore bang a couple in to end his drought. I'm genuinely baffled as to how Bamba was so disliked by Leeds fans, the bloke has been our star player since joining and has definitely saved us from many a defeat. Great support from Leeds last night, a real good away following for a Tuesday night 8 hour rounder. Great to see the stadium (almost) full, we can bet our bottom dollar that it wont be like that against the likes of Burton (absolutely no disrespect whatsoever to Burton). Another day and the result would have been different, your manager definitely got his tactics wrong and probably wasnt expecting Bamba to step into Gunnarsons role. A great game from Craig Bryson and Junior Hoilett, and I think your captain deserved his second yellow, it really was a wreckless challenge considering he'd been booked already. Onwards to Derby on Saturday for us, another difficult Championship game. You guys will bounce back next game, a small blip in the road but you will definitely be there or there abouts. Goodluck for the rest of the season all (except the return fixture at your gaff) .
A balanced view by Phil Hay that's worth a read .... http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....earn-championship-ropes-at-own-pace-1-8775620
He's basically saying what I said - beating 5 teams that are destined to fill the bottom 5 was admirable for the rooky manager, but once his team faced a decent footballing side in Millwall and Cardiff, he got found out and was torn a new one
Not really!! "Christiansen does not sound complacent about the new environment he is in but he made the transition from continental football to the English game look improbably simple until Millwall and Cardiff got inside his guard."
Sorry, I must be missing where you've interpreted 'good footballing side' from that. Like most people who understand english. Must be something to do with the German translation. If you had anything resembling a decent team, you'd be able to make direct quotes, not make it up.
Legend, whats he ever achieved of note, he's only ever played and managed little clubs, he's done **** all in the game
Apology accepted - It's late and you probably missed your afternoon nap - look again in the morning Understanding English comes with time
english understood perfectly well. You clearly don't understand what 'direct quote' means. Get someone that does understand english to explain it to you.
Ah you spotted that - I was being subtle - didn't want you to think I was schooling you as I know how proud you are of being one of the more educated Northern types !
I'm going to offer TC some support here. He has a good grasp of English and clearly stated a footballing side in millwall and Cardiff. It's plausible that if you combined the two teams that you could make a decent footballing side out of millwall and Cardiff players ... providing you only picked the ones from Cardiff.
Not sure about that milky - you had 3 shots on target against them - which is 3 more than you had against us
