what utter bollocks. i had a clear view of it and it was clever play by maynard - he got his body in between the ball and the defender, who was very clumsy and clattered into him, as clear a penalty as you will see. the extra class of the likes of bellamy, smith and mutch (who was outstanding today and has nailed down his position in the XI) showed today. simple as that - a team where money has been spent on quality vs one starved of quality....
