No, not at all. Those changes weren't money orientated, they were changes implemented by an Englishman on an English club in order to stamp his personality and his ideology on a previously under performing sleeping giant, having not won any honours since it's inception. The change to an all white strip was still in keeping with the white rose of Yorkshire.
The strategy worked quite well I'm sure you'll agree. But if you're happy with your new red kit and seeing decades of playing in Cardiff blue flushed down the pan then good for you.

White has always been a colour of Yorkshire and was on the very earliest Leeds strips along with blue. Revie's kit change was logical really.

You could say the same about red being the Welsh national colour, but LiE has that one covered. We all know it was done for irrelevant East Asians and personal reasons from the money-blinded Tan.

Sorry, was that there when I posted? I was only quickly reading this thread in work.
I'm out tomorrow and Friday so didn't know if I'd post again before the game.

Won't happen again.....:emoticon-0111-blush

I think you need to revise the difference between countries and ethnicities.

What formation will we see on Saturday from the redbirds?

Will we play 451, 433 or the winning formula against Wolves, 442?

What is it like to have options?

It looks as if your latest English manager also has his mind made up on your future kit should finances improve:

“If an owner said to me, here’s a £10m transfer kitty, I’ve got to be honest, I’d play in whatever they asked me to,” said Warnock.

“For that money I would send the players out in a yellow shirt with pink stripes and polka dots on it. No problem whatsoever.”

Looks like the old pantomime dame is stamping his mark on your club.

Almost complete nonsense. They were implemented by a man who was superstitious about Peacocks.

Revie may well have been superstitious about peacocks, and that's why he changed the badge, but the point I was making, which you seemed to have missed entirely, was that the change to an all white strip was not a financially motivated decision.
Please do try to keep up there's a good chap.

All pants any way you look at it. both clubs changed the identity for a reason us for investment and the chance to sit at the top table you for "stamp his personality and his ideology on a previously under performing sleeping giant, having not won any honours since it's inception" thus bring financial reward to the club.

All in all it’s to be a more successful club and compete at the top level on all aspects. the only difference is we decided to speculate to accumulate and you decided to re-brand in the hope off better fortune and future success thus bring the accumulation and ability to compete at the top level.
