Happy to eat humble pie . But I knew Sessegnon would score.

Thrilling game. The ref did his best to thwart us.

    Every player was magnificent.

Hats off to Etheridge for that vital late save. Absolutely crucial.

What a game! I thought we could beat Fulham today but not like that - they looked terrified of us going forward. Gunnar and Arter outfought them in the middle of the park and allowed Victor to play on the front foot.

The ref was appalling though. He did everything bar award Fulham the win on a plate. He should have that game reveiwed and be sanctioned for some of the bizarre decisions (lack of) that coud have cost us the game.

Just how good is Manga? Made himself into easily the best right back at the club and not through choice but necessity.

The Murphy/Paterson/Reid combo up front will win us more games - leave Hoilett on the bench and use Harris if necessary.

Manga has been immense this season, could be our best player so far.

Yes the M/P/R combo looked good, the tricky inter play at times was brilliant, I think we need to thank the MF Gunnar proved me wrong just hope he keeps fit.

    Zahore must be wondering WTF?

Paterson today earned every penny of his wage packet (like all the others) but his work rate was immense

His 50th professional goal today - not bad for a 24 year old full back:1980_boogie_down:

Ps Still thinking of that wonder save by Etheridge late on<applause>

Murphy Paterson Reid deserve the shirts after today.

Zahore and Hoillett will get a chance again im sure.

Zahore will have a big point to prove.

I appreciate Manga's efforts and his hard work but boy oh boy he is a woeful passer and crosser. :) Still as a defender he is doing a great job!

Hopefully Zahore will see what is happening out there in front of eyes and will find his own motivation. For me Gunnar was extremely important. His excellent vision and defensive work allowed Camarasa and Murphy more freedom. His leadership was obvious as well. He could be a Medel type of player going forward.

Totally agree Whiff - excellent Championship style of game against Championship quaity opposition played in the Premier League.

Thoroughly enjoyable game and the best I've seen this season - wonder why? :emoticon-0105-wink:

Seriously though, I'll take nothing away from that performance yesterday. <ok>

Still, that attitude, the real want to win, we showed yesterday was missing against Newcastle and Huddersfield. We really should be up around 8 or 9 points. Feeling like we will be up for a relegation scrap and may have the bigger balls for the task than those around us in the end.

Best match I've been to for a long time and thoroughly deserved our win. There were so many positives but for me the standout player was Camarasa who is having a great season. Such a skilful player who has helped our midfield develop and progress so well.

Dare I say it, but it was like being in the Championship again - we knew we had a great chance and went for it.

Take that attitude into the near future games and we'll be in a position come January to consolidate our position rather than trying to retrieve a lost cause.

How the hell did we lose to Burnley?

Camarasa was superb (as he has been all season)
...not sure where we'd be if we hadn't got hold of him and Arter....special mention for Gunnar, as well...wonder what might have been if he'd been available all season.

Still puzzling about that; same feeling about not being able to beat Huddersfield. Just hope those 5 points thrown away don’t come to haunt us next May.

Didn't think I'd say this, but Gunnar replacing Ralls in midfield could be the making of us - haven't been impressed with Ralls so far this season.

Gunnar gives Arter confidence that he's got someone riding shotgun for him whilst he pushes Camarasa on in front of him. Looked good to me.
