How can Warnock say he is proud of the clubs achievements in the premiership ? I and many more thought it was a poor show right through the season and today's performance against a team Cardiff should be beating at home shows that......I expected more effort this season after the last time Cardiff were relegated after one season, I really did......Warnock your an idiot....
Sorry to see you get relegated. After how you was with us after our tragedy and then you having your own I really wanted you to stay up this season All the best for next season and hopefully you return back to the Prem
Proud of the club today. United fans base. No slagging the players , the owners and the vile abuse those down west dished out to their players. The race is on to be the 1st team back. Interesting summer.
So it’s Barnsley and Millwall etc again plus 2 nerve shredding games with them down there. It should and could have been so different but it’s been a rollercoaster and a bit of a gas. Never had the roll of the dice throughout the season but at the end of the day City to be blunt and honest were punching well below their weight. Today it was virtually a championship team doing as well as they could against a team let’s not forget who won at Man City deservedly, and player for player were stronger, fitter and basically better. Proud to be a City fan as always; head held high and hoping for another good champion season.
Talking utter ****e again. I wouldn't expect less from you Dull Dai the resident Swansea Dickhead. You clearly know sod all about football in general and Cardiff in particular. Keep your own nasty little thoughts in that nasty little head if yours. Focus on your own club and their problems which are obviously much tougher than ours. Despite our relegation we are a united club and will come back stronger next season.
Lets see. We will still have virtually the same players who finished 2nd last time. Meanwhile youll be relying on the likes of Declan John.
Back to the game yesterday - bollocks to Dai. Could easily have won that 8-3 but it would have been an injustice to Palace who were by far the better side and a clear level above us. We missed at least half a dozen gilt edged chances through lack of class finishing. Palace got lucky a couple of times with Reid's back header hitting their keeper who knew nothing about it and NML's shot cleared off the line, but overall we failed to take our chances yet again. Two back post disaster attempts from Murphy and Hoilett, wrong choices from Zohore and Mendez when one on one with their keeper cost us a result that we hardly deserved but would have taken anyway. It's got to be drawing board stuff for the Championship next season I'm afraid - we need a fresh approach. Maybe not wholesale changes, but some sort of realisation that it's 2020 next year and not 1980. Time for an overhaul of attitudes of all those responsible at the club as to where we believe we belong, because at the moment, it seems that the Second Tier is the answer to that. Getting back out of the Championship is never easy, but the policies adopted this season toward both the buying of players and tactically on the pitch will only ensure we don't leave the Championship at the wrong end. Different challenges next season - I just hope we get it right for the future, we'll never have a better chance.
If we can add a bit of attacking flair, and brush up on our finishing, to go with the deffinsive side, we'll be top 6. I've said all season that 4231 is the formation to go with and think it should be the way to go next season. If we hang on to what we've got, it will all come down to our midfield recruitment. Bacuna looks ok. Ralls is ok. We need a couple ball players of a higher standard than that to cement the midfield and fit what we've got around that. Won't say no to a striker or two and another wide man but the investment needs to be in the centre of the park. I think we've got less work to do than Fulham who need a total revamp (again).

Same defence will be good enough for championship. Totally agree about central midfield. So miss a ball player (McPhail) and dead ball specialist and scorer (Whittingham). Crucial City acquire quality in thus area. Ward is ok, but have to acquire a consistent scorer at this level. Wide men? NML yes; Murphy, Harris and Hoilett no. The offensive part of the team should be based around Reid.
