Last year we would have lost the game.
Hard to beat fantastic three points tonight. 6 points from two tough away games.
Perfect.

 

We looked the better team for the first 20 minutes. Nagy sat in front of the back I thought was terrific tonight, got in some good interceptions, still not match fit but looking good. Paterson struggled to get into the game and ODowda was incredibly wasteful and nearly always taking the wrong option, our dead ball delivery at free kicks and corner by these 2 is beyond shocking, free kicks tending to go straight out and we had 2 corners that Paterson took one under hit the other over hit.

The defence dug in against an awkward customer in Moore, the front 3 worked very hard mainly in midfield and defence.

I can't wait for the international break in the hope that we can see Walsh and Williams at last and hopefully in a midfield that isn't going to be out muscled so much.

But hey, what a great 3 points and tonight they have my full admiration for the effort put in by every player.

That was a very stressful game to watch but we defended well, thought Bentley was man of the match though.

 

Not sure why Harris was complaining about the ref, thought he had a decent game.

 

He must have studied his predecessor.....

Brentford v Middsbro … BOTH teams in form, Brentford with home advantage == Home win, but Middsbro could conceivably go 2nd with a win
Norwich v Swansea .. Norwich with a win or Swansea with a draw could rob city of 2nd!
Birmingham v Bournemth … Birmingham 7 pts from 15 v 6 pts from 15 ..BOURNEMTH win was against us! another win tomorrow and we are just another top 6!
Watford home to Coventry … well that means we go into the break as top 6 ….

But as 3rd... 4th … 5th .. or 6th !..place your bets

 

Cheers Clingo - it makes a nice change for us to be this side of one of those games - we’ve been in your shoes so many times in games like those.

 

I thought he was quite lenient with both teams tbh - let the game flow.
