Nor this I would imagine though thinking about it ,he probably couldn't give flying f**k Angry confrontations as Cardiff City fans meet over re-branding By Simon Gaskell Jul 24 2012 Comments (2) Recommend inShare. 1 Share on email Share on print Cardiff City's away kit (blue), home kit (red) and badge AN ugly split among Cardiff City supporters reared its head at a public meeting of the Keep Cardiff Blue (KCB) campaign group on Tuesday night. Buy Football Memorabilia on Ebay The meeting, at the Municipal Club in Roath, was called for fans disillusioned at Malaysian backer Vincent Tan’s plan to see the team play in red in exchange for a structured £100m investment. Members of the KCB group had hoped to discuss a menu of activities aimed at reversing Tan’s decision and get the team playing in blue again. But a section of supporters, who said they supported the Bluebirds “unconditionally”, also attended the meeting and made their anger at the KCB cause known. After a series of heated exchanges throughout the two-hour meeting, attended by more than 120 people, the dissenting group were asked to leave but did not. Plans were mooted for a peaceful protest outside the Cardiff City Stadium on the first game of the season versus Huddersfield Town on Friday, August 17. But members of the KCB group were warned that if they disrupted the club’s preparations for the new season they risked being seen as “the enemy”. Speaking after the meeting, ex-Bluebirds director Steve Williams said: “It’s a sad day to see Cardiff City fans turn on Cardiff City fans.” During the exchanges Mike Roderick, from the KCB campaign group, said: “There’s a division in the fan base, a terrible division. We can see it here tonight. “What this campaign is here to do is unify the fans.” Another fan addressing the meeting said: “What this meeting demonstrates is both sides of Cardiff City. We have always had a lot of fighting spirit. “We should have been protesting all throughout the summer and should have a permanent protest outside the ground. “I don’t think this is one of the worst things to happen to Cardiff City, I think it is one of the worst things to ever happen in football.” Prior to the meeting, Kevin Roper, 43, of Pentyrch, said: “I feel I have had my heart ripped out. “But do you cut your nose off to spite your face? It’s going to be hard to go into that stadium when it’s a blue stadium, a blue seat and the team in red score – it’s going to be a really awkward feeling. “Do you say, ‘That’s not us.’ Or do you cheer?” Frankie Dee, 48, from Cardiff said: “It’s all about the city of Cardiff and whether you support your side.” “I don’t care whether they are playing Manchester United or Barnet away on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. “It’s irrelevant – it’s about supporting your club and your town.” Read More http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...y-fc/2012/07/24/91466-31466870/#ixzz21Zw4QAQr

This gift just keeps on giving !! The redbirds have made a massive finacial killing today and are well proud of the revenue streams they can tap into, its rumored that the extra money made can help the investment thats already promised !! so, thats £100m pounds + todays windfall of £5500 = LOADSA MONEY !! Honestly, raving about charging for car parking in lego land! they really have no shame.. whores .. http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=87255&start=0
I dunno Dilli but it sure does make for 2012 being one of the greatest years ever to be a Jack !! £100m quid and they will basically suck cock to get it and try and compete with us, apparently there is plenty of pro blue versus pro red at lego land now , somebody on Planet Swans suggested they should have 3 ends !! one for the away fans one for red and one for blue.. what a ****ing embaresment to wales they are
Norway, I think embarrassment isn't a strong enough word to be honest. In fact I don't the word has been invented yet. I cannot believe how low any club could sink. I suspect that when the season starts again it will go further escalate, going from one debacle to another. They are the laughing stock of British football even more so than Rangers.
It`s refreshing to see that they`ve taken on their new identity with gusto. No sign of the bluebird at all on there, also their avatars are all sporting the new identity.
The final nail in the coffin....cardiff city is dead and no more,,,,It must be awful not to have a team of your own anymore.....I cant think of any capitol city without a proud team to support, Never mind there is no denying now that we are the no1 team in wales with wrexham and newport in 2nd and 3rd spot, kuala lumpa can be the no1 in malaysia if they want ..
Seeing as they're now a Malaysian team does that mean that all the berks who go to Legoland now have to wear burkas too ? They'll go well with a red shirt I reckon
