Don't know if this has been posted before, just found it on the 'cardiff city and Swansea city banter page' on facebook. Obviously originally posted by a cardiff fan...

    Heard this little snippit?
Jose Mourinho this week flew into Kuala Lumpur for a
private dinner reception with Vincent Tan.
It was a very small affair with only Tan, Mourinho,
Singapore billionaire tycoon Peter Lim who owns the
MUFC bar/restaurant franchise in Asia and has
previously been linked with buying LFC, the VP of the
Malaysian FA, a few inner-circle Berjaya execs, and
two other powerful SE Asian figures in attendance.
It is my understanding that Mourinho was presented
with a proposition to take over at CCFC upon us
gaining promotion to the Premier League.
Mourinho responded that he has a contractual
obligation with with Real Madrid until 2016 and is
    happy in his current role.
Pressed on whether this could be addressed should the
situation change, Mourinho replied that he still had
ambitions in international management, but would not
discount an opportunity of the right scale.
Tan then outlined where he saw the development of
football heading over the next ten years.
He believes that future is in China and South-East Asia
with football operating under a series of US style
franchises, some of which he envisioned being imported
    from Europe.
The logic is that players will follow where the money
goes so long as the profile is high enough.
He cited Shanghai Shenhua as an example of a local
franchise already in the process of development and
anticipated them challenging Europe's top football
brands for Asian marketshare within a 5-year window.
Effectively they are looking at the formation of an Asia
    based Super-League outpaying and outplaying
    anything Europe has to offer.
To do that though it is believed that existing brands will
need to be leveraged or else it will end up like the J-
    League or MLS.
There are already outline plans for a 16-city format,
with the initial interest spanning from Singapore, KL
and Bangkok in SE Asia, Tokyo, Yokohama and Osaka
in Japan, Seoul in Korea, 5x major Chinese cities, with
potential to expand the franchises into Indonesia and
    India.
Some of the the money men behind this make Tan look
    like a pauper.
Not only that, but it is thought that state money will be
backing the scheme (Mourinho was also slated to meet
the Malaysian PM) to ensure it's success.
I don't want to jump to conclusions guys, and make of
this what you will, but don't things like 100 million
squids of investment now make a little more sense?

I no longer visit the cardiff board,my GP having strongly advised against it. <whistle>

However,if this is the type of stuff they are putting out over on the dark side, they are surely living in a cocoon of delusion.

****ing hell fire !! Jose for Cardiffred dragons...<laugh>

So many holes in this story you could use it to water plants !!
The Asain market may have money now,but the wheel is starting to turn for them too, when we are all broke we stop buying tat from china, they are starting to feel it there now. Having a big league full of star players ? like in the arab states, the J-league or MLS ?? how well are they doing ? the asain market is about buying into prestige! it always has been!! sales of anything British like fine Whiskeys,Jaguar motor cars,Burberry etc etc is what people aspire to not buying or using their own rubbish!

its the same with the football, Manchester United,Liverpool,Barca,Real madrid are the rolls royce of sporting institutions THATS what people want to be part of they want to watch Manchester United play Liverpool or Real play Barca, they buy into everything these clubs offer, sporting History and prestige is important to the asain fans they get the idea of what being part of a club is all about they understand what it means to have a club identity.

This is why cardiff red dragon fc are doomed to failiure over there, they are no different to hysung f.c or patiya rovers !! no history,no identity therefore no presitige!! and prestige is very important.

I wonder what Jose Mourinho will make of Jason perry giving him stick on the radio phone in show??

I've never been on their forums, can't really be arsed with them. I do like arguing with the skiprats on that facebook page though which is where I found this. They are actually more deluded than the English side

unfortunatly this happens over here all the time - get work experience, in fact our government are "trying to find out if it is breaching the fair work practices act" or whatever they call it so it musn't be an uncommon thing to do

I don't think the owners of Cardiff care about any laws Musty, they think they're above it. It just goes from one debacle to another over there.
