Nisman, you are right that you will have a big say in who makes the playoffs. However, most of the comments on here are about who is in the mix for the playoffs. After the weekend's results most don't believe you are. One of the key reasons for that is who you have left to play. Most of those who are in contention.

Would be very happy for you to help us out though.

oh yeah ofc the play offs were a distant dream that suddenly became a little bit real for us after leeds away (2-0 win) on 31st march. almost all of us (me included) know the dream got crushed on friday which is a shame but given what's happened i'd take that any day compared to a relegation scrap. personally before blackpool i believed it was in our hands because of our fixtures. do the impossible and defeat everyone and not only would we have been well up there but also would have deserved it (hypothetially speaking).

my point was probably not made clear enough. we have no real hope anymore after blackpool and imo they've got 5th place despite the teams surrounding them and the points gaps above and below. as for who'd get 6th it's between you and brighton and watford (certainly palace) would play a big role with that.

anyways good luck for the season (except tomorrow) and i have to do a mandatory COYH

Thanks Nisman94 for your input, I must admit i've allways liked Watford had some good times there over the years.

I did point out that (M'brough have Southampton and 3 hard away ties) one is Watford.

Yes you could have a say how things turn out but with both Cardiff & Brighton to play you at home it will be harder for 'boro.

Thanks for your good luck wishes and I send the same to you after tomorrow.

It might be too late for you this year but you were thought as religation certainties at the start of the season, one or two new players in the break could you chalange next year.

There are no roll over teams, and despite 3 points yesterday we haven't looked like beating anybody for some time - look at the way we played against Millwall and Coventry.

    Argeed iggypop,

But I bet the fans of Brighton & 'Boro are saying the same thing. We've only lost 1 in the last 8 though I would have liked a few more wins.

    Onwards & Upwards.

Agreed Iggy. But if we can't get the points now, when the playoffs are right there for the taking, against some teams who have nothing to play for, we simply don't deserve it. The Watford game is so huge for us. A wIn, after get ripped off in the fixture list, and we have momentum and confidence.

Watch out for Leicester... one club always makes a late bid and they are going to come at us strongly. It depends whether our sight is fixed on 5th or 6th; as to whether or not we'll miss out.

Technically my glass is always full... half water (or beer) & half air!

i think we are ignoring a late finisher, Leicester are getting the right results at the moment, and i think we now need to win 3 out of the last four and probably a draw to get to the playoff's for definate.

I still think they need 13-15 from the last 5. They got 3 already so I guess 10-12 from the last 4. Mind you I thought we would get 10 from the last 5. Now, I think we need 9 from the last 4....

Its squeaky bum time now and i would say much depends on the Barnsley result this saturday, win that one and we are in with a real shout, what would be sweet for me is to cement our place with a win against Colin's Leeds.

It would be just like us to either get 5th or 6th spot, looking at the run ins both ourselves and blackpool seem to have the easier of the fixtures, but where have we seen that before.
